“NEW TBILISI”, REHABILITATION-RESTORATION OF BUILDINGS AT AGMASHENEBELI AVENUE

Rehabilitation of the above buildings has been implemented as a part of project “New Tbilisi”, what include restoration-rehabilitation external facades, roofs, courtyards, porches and valuable internal parts of the buildings; also their structural strengthening. Within the project it is also planned to connect courtyards of former post office building and Drama school, what finally provide to creation of pedestrian routs between Chorokhi and Tsereteli streets. Such connections are typical for this area and presents to be an attempt of restoration of hystorical character. In total, our design studio elaborated restoration-rehabilitation designs of 6 listed buildings and 1 new, single-storey commercial facility.
