VAKE SWIMMING POOL REDEVELOPMENT

Modernisation of Vake swimming pool was an ambitious project that involved planning and management of the transformation of a complex ex-municipal Olympic structure. A complete design make-over was required, and the cutting edge technology was implemented to make use of the latest advancements in water purification, filtration, dehumidification, and gas-fuelled energy cogeneration. The entire complex was roofed afresh with arc metal structures, spanning the total area of 2,800 sq. m. Skylines were implemented to provide natural lighting all year round. All the interiors and the technology of supporting infrastructures was overhauled and in addition, the complex was supplemented with sports hall, modern saunas, Jacuzzis, massage parlours and cafe-restaurant.
